Renato Errejota (@renato_errejota) is a photographer from Rio de Janeiro, born in Rocinha, whose work captures life in the favela with both critical and poetic sensitivity. His photography is marked by a strong social approach: he seeks to break stereotypes by portraying the community with nuance and humanity.
Renato participated in the Rocinha Foco na Cultura project and, in 2024, held his first solo exhibition at PUC-Rio’s Cultural Corridor, presenting panoramic images taken during the restoration works on Morro Dois Irmãos. His photography is described as a “voice of the soul,” inviting viewers to reflect on memory, community, and belonging.
